‘More comfortable than the Sheldonian at a fraction of the price’
St. Mary's is regularly used as a venue for classical music concerts, lectures, and other types of events. Tickets are purchased either at the door or as specified by the concert organisers. Regular ensembles include, The Oxford Sinfonia , The City of Oxford Choir and Oxford Youth Choirs, as well as various college music societies such as the Hertford Bruckner Orchestra.


A Bluthner Model 2 Concert Grand is available at St Mary's for use by concert organisers. An additional hire fee applies.

Oxford Sinfonia, Saturday 21st June, 8pm
James Davey is conducting the Chandos Chamber Choir, with Julie Cooper (Soprano), Alice Gribbin(Soprano), Daniel Colling (Counter Tenor), Jonathan Bungard (Tenor) and Will Dawes (Bass) and performing Bach's Mass in B Minor.
