The University Church is one of the finest concerts venues in Oxford, offering a stunning setting, resonant acoustics, and central location. We host a variety of choral, orchestral and other concerts throughout the year, featuring Oxford's finest instrumentalists, international ensembles, and up and coming student musicians.

We host a variety of choral, orchestral and other concerts throughout the year, featuring Oxford's finest instrumentalists, international ensembles, and up and coming student musicians. We aim to provide a friendly and professional welcome to ensembles and audiences. The church houses a fine Blüthner grand piano, suitable for professional performances, set on a wheeled platform, as well as a renowned Metzler organ. The church has a capacity of just over 400 but we offer different rates for large concerts and small chamber concerts.

Recording and Livestreaming
Our newly-installed AV system includes two HD cameras in the Nave, one HD camera in the chancel, with two lapel mics & two pop mics, and several other stationary microphones. We have the ability to record events, from talks, conferences and musical performances and livestream them via the University Church YouTube channel. We do not allow external equipment to be brought in without express permission. Please indicate your interest in recording/ livestreaming when booking your event.
